Default Can Am warranty

Was just at the dealer this afternoon. He said 3 year warranty is standard on Can Am ATV's is this true? Seems like a good selling point and partially justifies the higher price. A Polaris with 3 year extended warranty is about the same price as the stock Can Am.

When I bought my 06 Outty, I was given a 6 month (no deductible) warranty and an additional 36 month ($50 deductible) warranty for a 42 month total warranty for no additional cost.

I believe it is a 6 month limited warranty that runs concurrent with a 30 month "B.E.S.T." service contract OR no payments for 6 months OR 5.9% financing. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE ALL THE CAN AM ATV's. In particular is does not cover the youth models for sure. Log on to can-am.brp.com for specifics.

Expires 2/28/08...but you never know if they will extend it.

Don't know if you have a Gander Mountain near you, but one thing to think about when you do pruchase one is what the dealer might have to offer you. for example, I signed up for a Gander Mountain Credit Card and received an immediate $150 off my purchase and an additional $400 dollar points certificate toward Gander Mountain merchandise. This paid for some Mud Lites and other accessories. So shop around and ask about incentives. Also, I bought it out of state and did not pay taxes on it. Saved big bucks there too.

So whats the answer to this man's question?? Do Can Am's come with a standard 3 year warranty? Which models are excluded and what does it all cover?

6 mos full coverage no deductible, then for 3 years with a 50 deductible for repairs. Think it's all on their website

the utility/renegade models are the only units that come with the extended warranty all of the sport and youth models come with a standard 6 month 0 deductible warranty and you can buy the extended warranty for about 500-600 for all except the youth models

6 month warranty with 30 month BEST warranty, $50 deductable! believe me the 30 month best is added to the cost of the atv. You can buy without 30 month BEST, save $$$.
