Yeah we're fine, but I can tell ya we were a little scared at 6:20 this morning. No damage or anything, but Wells, where it was closer to had some of there 100+ year old buildings damaged. And they are about 50mi to the east of us.

I've only been in one fairly big quake and that was in SoCal when I lived out there for a couple of months. It was like a slow, very wavy motion that made you sway back and forth. You had to hold on to a door frame to stay up. Weird to say the least. Glad everything is Okay over your way.

This felt more like when the washer goes of center when you wash clothes, but way more violent.

That's a big-un!
Glad all is well.
My Wife had a co-worker move up there recently and we were talking about it during dinner. I told her all the mines are open-pit so, no worries about cave-ins or anything like that.

They are open pit but some of them have Underground mines on the same property. But there was no report of any cave ins. They build them different than the coal mines. It still happens some times but not as often.
