I have 22" Realators for dirt drags. It has enough torque I didn't even notice.

hey Dskurt, I have 22" realtors on the back end as well. Have you ridden your DS in the snow with them? For some odd reason, I cannot get out of 2nd gear in 6-8" of snow and when I try to pull off a donut it just bogs down and dies. My Ds will run real good on dry or snow packed roads, but I just can't figure this out. Do you think that spring that is in the carb that was in previous threads could be the problem to my throttle response?

big waynester, i have that exact combo your asking about on my ds.did cause i read it in dirt wheels..made perfect sense to me.stopped all that wheel spin ya get in the first couple of gears while riding in loose dirt, gravel, sand, etc.didnt notice a difference on the pavement at all.go with the xct 6ply. it will also help keep them rims from bending.good choice dude!!!

jimmie, didnt really notice the hieght difference at all.so much that i really never even thought about till you said something about it..ha..ya made me go out and set on it to see..lol..i had a set off blackwaters on my honda.i though they were great 4 mud but relatively easy to spin on any other surface.they almost felt like big tractor tires, not alot of tire surface to ground surface.the 22's xct's are awesome though.really seemed to cut most of the spin.not all of it but i dont care what ya but on them ds's there gonna spin'em.good luck on your chioce!

I also have realtors on my bike 22 inch and I can not tell of any power lose. Only thing I noticed was it sure wheeled a lot better. I can still power slide it on the dirt. Thats how the A/Arm got bent wheeled and grab bar gave way had to eject, bike fell over popped tire off rim bent A/Arm.Also Ihave had better luck running them in mud direction, even in sand.Dosen"t seem to dig as deep a rut when taking off especially in sand.Fills like a little more push.
