Hey guys, well this morning I spoke to a guy named Brian at Dyno Jet about the jet kit. I was asking him abou my problem on the bogging down in snow and he said the kit will provide a very noticeable amount of power through out the entire powerband. What do you guys think? Those of you that have this already, did you notice the difference especially on the bottom end? I know I need to junk the stock exhaust, but I do need to wait a bit for that. I ended up purchasing the kit from Dyno Jet but I am wondering if it was a wise buy for $57.70. I looked on the Dyno Jet web site, but there is no graphs for the DS. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys...

Changing to the race ignition box will help, giving more ignition advance on the bottom, eliminating the retard at 6500 and no rev limiter.

1BEARMAN,
I had the same result. I talked to Dynojet and they told me to open the mixture screw a little more. Haven't tried it yet though, I have much bigger problems to solve at this time. When I get the coolant to stop coming out of the breather I will address that issue.

I installed the k and n power kit on my DS650 which included the filter, outer filter and jet kit . I used the jet suggested in the instructions ,. And now it's actually slower than it was before ,under wide open throttle it misses a little but if i let off it a little it runs better but am still getting beat by my freinds raptor which i used to beat . i am thinking it is either to rich or to lean anybody got any ideas?? Oh my DS is all stock except for the exhaust and this kit

kellys300ex,try restricting the airflow by putting duct tape over the filter.1/4 of the whole air filter at a time.go 4 a run.If the problem gets better you r lean.If it gets worse you r rich.change the main as needed.like scooby said.Get back to me and tell me if that works 4 ya.good luck
