Default Extended swingarm Q's

Recently picked up a +4 swinger with the needle bearings already in it. My bike is an 03. Will the newer pivot bolt and nut do the trick or will I have to get the bearings out and use the bushings with the older style bolt?
I looked at one of the +4 setups at Dumont and it had the stock brake line. Really any need for a longer one?
And lastly, atleast for now, what will I need to do differently to the stock shock? Looks like a lot of the extended swingers really kick the *** end up in the air.
Thanks much

With mine I left the shock where it was and haven't had any issues. Mine is a +5 and I did need a longer brake line so you may also. The pivot bolt should work, I used my old one and the swingarm is off of an 04. Hope this helps some.

Vic,
Here are a couple of post from years gone by...

I think you will just have to swap the bushings out for the solid ones with a larger diameter.
