I think I will have her check out the Z250.

I thought you said she wants something that has power. LMAO. Better yet just teach her how to ride with a clutch and she'll never go back.

Well her idea of power is probably not the same as mine I'm sure that 250 weighing on ony 360lbs has enough zip for her to keep up. She just didn't want some big slow utility quad

I'm getting my wife a TRX450 when $$$$$ permits.

Isn't the z a shaft drive?

The Honda trx is a chain drive. Just a little lighter.

Another option is the Yamaha Wolverine. They are a sporty 4X4 but they also shift out to 2X4 they are automatic and a 450. Smaller renegade kinda. May be something to look into anyway. Just another Idea.

well my wife loves her 400 outlander. ya its 4wd but it still rides great in 2wd. she is of smaller frame and weight and it fits her to a tee ! it will also keep up to my 500 sportsman. just my .02

Yeah I've read good things about the 400 Outlander and that its a pretty strong motor for a small bore. Any idea what it weighs? I wish they made a 400 2WD version resembling a smaller renegade. 4WD is just dead weight for the type of riding we do.

I would recommend the Scrambler 500 or the Sport 400, both very good machines and plenty of power for a chick.

Just saw a recluse clutch kit for an ltz/kfx/dvx 400 on ebay for just over 100 bucks. That would definitely fit in with the sporty 2wd, lots of power, and not having to use a clutch.

Now that is for a used one, not sure how much a new kit would be.

Just another thing to think about.
