Default interchangeable hubs

Doe anyone know if the rear hubs off of a 2000, 2001 ds650 will fit on a 2004 ds650? They are a different style hub with the same bolt pattern, they seem to be thicker, but the '04 hubs have a spacer behind them on the axle. If anyone could help with the answer before I waste my time I would be very thankful. Thanks in advance!

Yes indeed they will fit on the new style DS. And the real advantage of going to the older style hubs is that you can get them drilled with a Yami or Honda pattern so you can run 8" rims.
