Please post your pics on how you carry extra gas. I would like to see some inovative ideas.

 

I have found that a one gallon container will fit perfectly on the front underneath the nose piece and bungee corded to the front bumper. I am afraid that this blocks airflow to the radiator, so as soon as I have burned a gallon, I dump the extra gallon into the bike and lash the empty one gallon container to my six pack rack. If you need to carry more than this, I would look at the "out in back rack" (I think Armadillo makes it), that has a slot for a two gallon fuel container as well as a little ice chest. Sorry, I don't have any pictures.

 

IMS desert tank... holds 5 gallons... that is 1.5 over stock.

 

i use an IMS tank 5 gallons plus i have a double 6 pack rack that will hold 2- 21/2 gallon cans.... thats 10 GALLONS in the desert thats over 200 miles. no fuel problem here. i have pics on my page.

 

fill up a zip lock bags and put as many as you can in your pockets, thats what i do anyway
