i launch in the highest gear possible, i've only tried 2nd WOT on black top, maybe could do third, and on gravel i launch in 3rd or 4th WOT

Just wondering how much the ds450x weighs? I know the yfz was the lightest until all these new 450s came out.

The regular ds450 weighs 445lbs, but I am not sure how much the "X" package adds to the weight.

Alot will depend on rider skill, and how much do you weigh and how much does your buddy weigh?
Where are you going to race, dirt? paved road? Sand? The highest gear you can launch in would be best, most likely 2nd.
and Yeah WOT Sitting on the gas tank.
You should keep yours completely stock for the race for a nice compario~then after the race cut the wire take the lid off open up the exhaust, and race again.
