Default YFZ450 VS DS450X

Ok now say the can am has exhaust and intake vs the yfz. both quads have 20x10x10 haulers but the yfz has 9 paddles and the can am has 10 paddles. rider on yfz compared to the rider on the can am; the yfz with rider is 35 pounds lighter and the rider on the yfz has been riding for 7 years compared the can am riders 0 years riding experiance, lol.

Runs a 730 kit from OMW with web109's and a 48mm lectron. It has some serious torque!

when coming to drag racing its power to power/weight/traction/experience

i think the yfz with that work will still take the ds with exhaust and intake.
i really dont think the ds450 is much faster (probably about equal) than any other 450, they are pretty much all on a level playing field. whoever has more $$ in their machine will be the faster one.

This would be a close one I think. Rossier says with just their pipe and intake kit the DS is making nearly as much torque as their fully built race YFZ's and TRX's. They really like the DS450. This is going to be a good race if your buddy gets a Rossier kit. Look Here

Actualy i raced a stock ds450 and a modded yfz a few weeks back at freeway hill the ds450 was almost always on top of the yfz BUUUUT i could be wrong they were both 5-6 bike behind one of the baby bikes. So the roost may have clouded my vision. That tiny ds is proving to be a force too be reconed with.if i was a tiney tiny person i would get me one of them.

Im not a big guy just lanky. 6'3" 165lbs and the DS450 feels a little cramped but not tooo bad.

Im only 5'10 @ 200 lbs and the ds dose feel a tad small for me too but it was not too small it dose feel like a bigger quad in a small quads frame.
