Building an extended swingarm.
#1
Well I started extending a stock steel swingarm this weekend with decent results. I think the look won't be bad and I know it will function when it's done, but I'm wanting to scrape this one and build one from scratch. Extending somethng that is already heavy only makes it heavier! After seeing how it's over built, I think I can start over with nothing and make a better looking finished product and it'll probably weigh less to.
Has anyone done this before? What materials did you use? I'm just looking for any and all advice for this little project. Thanks.
