Skid plate installation
#2
Rockrimmon,
the ricochets are very easy to install. That being said, I did mess it up. You have to drill two 11/32 holes into the frame. One for the front skid and one for the rear. The hole for the front skid is directly under the brake line. I wasn't paying attention and drilled right into the brass portion of the line. Luckily, I was able to pick up a used line for 20 bucks. They are about 100 from the dealer.
If I didn't mess up, it would have taken about 1.5 hours to install, and that was taking my time. I did purchase and use hex head bolts as recommended by many folks instead of the pan heads supplied from ricochet.
