Well I took my daughters ds 70 up to the dealer for it's 100 hr check up. I asked about switching out the stock throttle cable with the ds 90 version to open up the engine a bit more, and they actually told me they know about this issue and are not only going to switch it out but they are going to try to get it done under warranty. I thought this was great because I expected a little resistance on this subject. Has anyone else out there had dealers that agree? I'm wondering if can-am is getting an earful from people on this. Not that I need my daughter blasting down the trails but when ya gotta press the throttle half down just to get the machine to move...come on! Anyhow, kudos to Tomahawk Sports in Wisconsin.
