Default DS650 Question

I am looking to add andother bike to my fleet of 1 quad in the near future. I am lookin at Raptor 660r's, or a DS650. I have talked to only one guy who has ridden a DS (he rented it while choosing the right bike for him). He said it could not keep up with a Predator 500 (stock). I like the look of the 650 but I dont want a money pit either. I am a bigger guy and know the 650 would fit me nicely. What are your thoughts? Thanks.

I'm 350lbs and I can keep up with anything on my DS. Even the little guys on the 450's... your friends DS was either not tuned right or he was a lesser rider than the dude on the preddy. Don't even consider the 660... POS in my humble opinion. The DS is a rock, and perfect for bigger guys.

Go for the DS buddy, you'll love it! Do a few basic mods and it goes as fast as you'll ever need. For cheap you can do a pipe end cap, a CDI(Rev Box), lid off of the air box(or just take the air box off depending on the kind of riding you do), Stock carb mods, and a little lower gearing on the sprockets, make sure the jetting is spot on as well. These things are considerably cheap and you will have yourself a runner for sure! You will have no problem with 660's or Pred's IMO.
