Outlander 650 max.. Bighorns or Mudlight XTRs?
#1
I have a sidewall puncture in one of my stock tires.. so I figure it is as good a time as any to finally upgrade to a new set of tires. I want a tire that is a smooth riding, very durable trail riding tire, with good traction. I am not super concerned with heavy/deep mud riding, but will come across mudholes from time to time on trails that I may be required to traverse.
I don;t particularly want to go to a heavier/ bigger tire, as I don;t really want to loose performance on the machine. I really like the way it handles and performs now, I just figure it might be a good idea to get something that is even smoother, and more durable.
any thoughts?

They aren't light, but Bighorns are likely the best all around trail tire but they are heavy. You might look into the new Bighorn 2. Supposed to be lighter, but still provide good protection. Whatever way you go; Yipee, something new for your quad.

Cool that sounds EXACTLY like what I want. the only thing that was concerning me about the bighorns is the weight. all I could find was a reference to them on the maxxis site.
