Default 2001 DS 650

Can anyone tell me what parts are compatible from a 2005 to a 2001 DS 650.Specifically the rear shock, the rear brake hub and caliper, rear master cylinder and how to set the preload on the tapered roller bearings for the rear axle.

I'm no expert but they all apear to be the same frame all the way to the last year they were made.

I just bought a 2004 Baja X model this spring (Awsome Unit) And one hell of a bargain to buy them.

Do your self a favor buy a steering stablizer to keep that light front end from having major bump steer when those front tires it a rock or a tree rut it might save you from some brokin ribs etc. Like any sport/racing quad that is a problem.

The 2000-2001 DS's were the same, then in '02 they changed the a-arms... cant remember if the swingarm changed a lil bit or not...then in '04 they changed a-arms, frame, swingarm, and axle to make them smaller and a lil lighter

Thanks for the help.I found a microfiche on the net and it looks like the brake hud and axle related stuff is different. If anyone has a brake hub and the caliper support, rear caliper and master cylinder as well and wants to part with them let me know.
