Default Is it worth trading

I currently have a banshee with some extras and a fresh built motor. I have found someone that wants to trade me for his ds650. I know my banshee is faster than a bomb but man I want one so bad. The ds has black plastics with yellow. I heard that that motor seem to blow alot, and I know parts are very expensive. What should I look out for. I know my banshee is a solid bike, are these? I will post pics later.

Do you guys know of anythings that I should be on the lookout for when I first look at it. What should I check and what questions should I ask? He told me that it was freshly rebuilt.

Looks like an early model year 01 or 02. Personally I prefer the 04 and up models as they made many small changes in 04 that produced a better handling and quicker/lighter all around DS. Early models had some issues with twitchy steering geometry, weak shift forks, chain rollers breaking, heavy steel swingarm, etc. THe motor on the other hand has not changed over the years and is pretty much bullet proof (with the exception of the shift forks on the early models). If you break those its big time work to fix.

Yea and there is no way to know if this thing is going to be trashed, but I guess thats just a chance I have to take. If so Ill just put a r6 or r1 motor in it.
