Default Tie Rods that are on Ebay

Anyone purchase these and get them to work? Seems like there are clearance issues. They look beefy and look a heck of a lot better than the stock ones but they use heim joints and a funky spacer. They also you Ny-Lock nuts, not castle. I may put two on there for safety.

Anyone have any luck with these?? They seem difficult to setup.. I may hock these and buy new stock rods.

Are you referring to the American Star ones. If so, I think they look awesome. You can't beat Chromoly and Hiem Joints. A good stout combination.

Kansas can you provide me if you get the chance a different angle pic... of where it meets the spindle and the steering stem? Seems like mine will rub against the steering stem

Looks to me like he still has stock tie rods and just the aftermarket arms.
