I was wondering if there is anything i can do to get a little bit more snap in my lower gears other than regearing it. 01 DS650 its stock

 

A k&n filter would be a good start and the end caps on ebay do wonders

gomer. you need to have a plan if you want to do motor later on. one go start is to go with a carb and intake and a end cap for exhaust. that is were I started out but iway past that point. one option is on thisOMW RACING. this is just my 2cents worth. when it comes carbs everyone has opinions, so you have to decides what you want.

It is a billet aluminum exhaust end cap that you can get on ebay for $69 bucks. It replaces the stock end cap and it makes some sweet, cheap horsepower. To get the most out of it you'll want a K&N, a big gun CDI, and take your air box lid off. When you do this you'll need to re-jet the main jet on your carb.
