Ive searched the fourms looking for instructions on how to install a oil pressure and water temp guage. I was wandering if anyone could point me in the right direction. I would like a mechanical gauge if possible and I want to mount it on the guage pod since I don't have a tach.

 

I am out of town right now, but search my username. I followed someone elses design and bought the "sunpro" gauges which were available at my local autozone (check your local Oreilly or whatever you have around you). Comes with 3 gauges- oil pressure- coolant temp and volt. I only used the first two. You can drill out the dash to accept the gauges. Get the coolant line sensor tap on ebay (like 12 bucks) and then you will have to find a "TEE" to put in where your oil pressure sensor goes.

Oil pressure guage can go in the same port as the stock oil pressure sensor, use a "T" fitting if you still want to use the stocker. The temp guage should go in the upper radiator hose with a "T" as well, or you can look at the ESR in line temp guage, then you don't have to mess with the sender wire. I've been running it for years and love it... helps with tuning, especially when temps at Glamis range from low 100's to low 40's.

I also have been running them for a while as well. i deleted the stock sending units as the kept going out & i HATE idiot lights. check out my pics. SIMPLE install . the T for the temp was the only tough part ( not really i own a fab shop) all the fittings worked fine. i did use the stock dash at first, but redesigned to clean up the look. if you need any help end me a PM.
