Ron shows up every now and then lol

I agree that Eric would not sell you something you don't need. That was why my thought on his opinion on it

You could be very right about the RPM being sustained being the difference, but I do not know.....

Seenormally ride in small sand pits and trails. I don't drag race seriously. We just line up and gun them down the field roads and stuff like that. But I still want more power up top. I don't think i want to go shim under bucket. It seems to me that the 109's are a little better than stock. My mods are currently the Barnett clutch, RW 60% springs,Big Gun exhaust, lid off the box w/ K&N filteron 22" tires i'm currently looking for a Big Gun CDI (still want a rev limiter). So at about what rpm will I start to float the valves? I would like to rev out to about 9000rpms, I don't know if the big gun will do that or not? Also is it better to do the high compression piston with stock cams? I just thought I could put the cams with out tearing down the motor, maybe do the piston this winter.

You will be money and frustration ahead if you do the piston and cams at once. Also get the head ported, it will make the 109's scream.

wow this is a heated subject, cams are my next step for power, i've got a 11.5 piston, big carb exhaust and cdi. i'm just lookin for a mild cam i do alot of bush trail riding and dont need a monster. i'm not gonna ask which cams i should get cause i'll never get a straight answer but i was hoping to do it without the shim under. On the other hand though its cheaper to buy the kit then new top end. when you do buy the shim under kit though do you get a variety of shims or do you have to buy each shim seperately?

You'll get a straight answer, that's easy, HR3's! Or 109's. Or Ron Wood. Or Pami. Just messin', I'm not sure about your shim question though.
I think you should head over to the other site and ask your question. Eric will probably be glad to give you an answer. And an order sheet!lol The vendors are right there on the site along with some great forums.
