I bought a Uni filter for my 650, and It doesnt seem to fit inside the airbox...What the heck im I doing wrong...My old filter was a Moose that basically just squishes in to the box, this one has frame inside it, so it won't squish into the box...

 

I have several and they all fit in? Is it cone shaped? it should slip in where it should and you tighten the clamp.

 

It is coned shaped, but the thing looks to long...It is the right part number, NU 8701 or somthing like that...I jam it way in the back of the airbox and have to try to force it in place...It seems like when it is clamped down it is the wrong angle and is going to be jammed against the top of the airbox..

 

Mine says NU-8701ST so you should have the right one. I don't know why you're having a problem with it. Give us a measurement of it length wise.
