Default Ds650 midrange issues

I have reasembled the ds after all of my valve issues and got it running. It seams like its running supurb just sitting there. But as soon as i get on it it bogs down until it reaches a certain rmp and then it takes off. It almost seems like it is choking. I have no idea what it could be. But my guess is not enought air. Im not good with carbs. At all! if never even touched one. Does this sound like a carb issue? if so, what do i need to do? Thanks, Dave

well if you had the head off you almost had to have touched one but if you did not do the work and paid a shop kind of bad on their part for not helping you a little more. you might want to start with making sure everything that was taken off ( intake exhaust )is all back on and sealed right leaks can be a problem then make sure the filter is clean then you can start the carb trouble shooting, and for that do a search on here you will find some carb mods that should make you happy
