do rev-limiters really improve acceleration?

I honestly can't tell the difference in acceleration between the stock CDI and the Woods CDI. Maybe if you had a stock pipe and stock jetting you might notice a difference. Until someone dynos a machine with the swapping out of the cdi being the only variable I don't think we'll really know.
The thing I do like about the Woods cdi is simply the fact that I don't hit the limiter in 1st-3rd every 2 secs like I used to, to me this was reason enough to have one.
