do rev-limiters really improve acceleration?

Graydon has my DS now and they ran the first dyno test today ,by friday I should have all of the numbers and dyno charts and will let everyone know if it changes the timing curve and any horsepower gains.Graydon also installed their carb kit with dyno test before and after.Should be interesting.

Clif Graydon still has my DS, they are testing a carb. kit as well as the rev box and ran into some problems with the twist throttle and jetting but have promised me it will be done next week and I will definitely share the dyno figures with all.

Bearman,

I'd like to see them also. I don't visit the bomb forum everyday though, so if you don't mind stirring it up a bit, post them in the Yamaha forum as well.

The only way we (raptor owners) are going to get people serious about building some really high hp kits and so forth is if we have a good rival. I think we've got that with the DS650.
