Default help - module testing replacement

So my 99 traxter had issues - I redid the spraque and some other things that may as well be done at the same time (about 600.00 worth). Then the repair shop says it is ready but when we arrive it now wont start - he says thats odd, I ran it around yesterday for quite a long ride.. eeek, he tries to start again and a puff of smoke (module area) comes rolling out!!!

Now a new module is well over a thousand dollars, is it possible to have the module tested to see if the guy blew it with bad wiring before I invest in another one.. AND, does anyone know of ATV wreckers where I might find a used module???

The machine is in great shape otherwise but I am not sure it is worth the investment of a new chip..

Thanks
stefanie
