Im looking to get a new CDI and was wondering if the Vortex Ignition CDI is really worth the money or should i just get the Big Gun Cdi?

Thats a hard one to answer. The big gun will do everything you need, but the Vortex is adjustable. I would say that for 90% of riding you're fine with a Big Gun.

I've run both, the big gun is nice, gives you what u need, the vortex goes the extra mile with its diff map curves, i really like that it has the switch on the handlebars for reg riding and drag racing, if my vortex doesnt sell im gonna get it re-mapped and use it on my '04

What about the Dynatek FS CDI Ignition ,how dose it compare to the vortex? Any one ever used it ?

Haven't personally used the Dyna but have heard good things. The down side to the Dyna is that you have to hard wire it in the Vortex has a plug just like the stocker. But both good cdi's. The Vortex we have had have been great.

Mr. Horsepower uses and programs Dyna's now if that says anything! The Dyna should be another great one SMbikes.
