Choke is off when **** is all the way in. Turn out your air/fuel mixture screw 3-1/2 turns, which is on the front/middle of the carb. I had to do it to mine a little while back.

Eddie, go to the Suzuki section and you might get better results.
The idle screw is on the left side as you're looking down from sitting on the seat. It looks like a **** with a screw in the middle. Right turns up the idle, left turns it down if I remember right.

Me and some of my buddys were riding the other day, just got the ds650, and that's all it would do was pop. Wasn't responsive at all, would run better with half choke, so we figured that it must be getting too much air. So I took my sock off, put it over one of the airbox tubes, and it ran like a champ. It had a new K&N airfilter on it. So I figured it was just the filter so I ordered a factory air filter, put it on did the same thing, just not as bad, but I still have to run it with one of the air tubes blocked off. So now I'm thinking someone rejetted the carb or something. Anyone had this problem?? Maybe this will help you.
