DS650 Carb Rebuild Kit
#3
Mine Runs Great, but is a pain to start, It drips gas out of the bottom of the bowl, I have stock air filter, stock carb, but I have to plug off one of the tubes going to the air filter or it runs like crap. So I believe I have a jet that is clogged up.

You can buy a new needle and seat valve, they are about 55.00, and for the clogged jets, what I did was pull the carb, remove all the rubber bits, o'rings, needle valve, everything that isn't brass or aluminum, and get a can of the soak-in carb cleaner. You can get that at any auto parts store, it is about 20.00. Soak the carb, blow out all the jets, and dont forget about the little air jets at the inlet of the carb as well as the top of the carb under the diaphragm.
I pulled all my jets, but it *may* work without pulling them. They are easy to put back in, just take a digital pic before you take them out so everything goes back into the right hole.
Cheers, John
