Default DS650 Hard to Start

Well I went to the parts store today and they didn't have any shims at all. So I remembered a machine shop that is located in my town, and called one of my friends that work there. He said they were closed Fri-Mon because of Labor Day Weekend, but said he could get to it on Tuesday. I told him I was planning on riding it on Monday, so he went and opened up the shop and ground them both down .005 for me. It took him about 5 minutes. They came out looking great with no scratch marks. Best of all he done it free of charge. So come Monday I'll put it all back together, cause I've made prior plans this weekend to go to the lake. I'll make a post when I get it back together and say if it helped my problem.

Default DS650 Hard to Start

I put the ds back together on friday, mounted the gas tank and bumped the started 3 times just to make the engine turn over trying to make sure that nothing was going to make a horrible sound. On the 3rd bump the fourwheeler fired off and idled like a champ. I wasn't trying to start it, in fact I don't know why it started, it didn't seem to me that the engine had a chance to even start. It seems to be running better now. I have a few more things I want to do to it, cause it seems a little boggy on the bottom end.

if you have a 2 and need a 1.9 take to a machine shop and have them surface grind 4 thousands of an inch (.004) off of it and then you have a 1.9

If I get it machined to 1.9 will it sit below the lip of the bucket? Also I was quoted at $75!! For 2 shims
