That's fair. I can understand what you're saying. Before I even think of selling this thing I'm going to make damn sure it's even worth keeping. If it's a junk motor, then it's of no value to me to expend the effort to keep it. Like you said, it's a buyer beware thing. Well.. I guess somebody has the option of buying it or not. It just kind of pissed me off when that Kelly clown said "I wouldn't buy anything from wrecked" like I'm some kind of con artist trying to slip people junk.

I have done business with many people over the years . I was not trying to imply your engine was bad . Rather the way you threw out a price ,after getting a good response decided to flounder around and get as much as you possibly can , stating "I knowthe engine is worth considerably more than a $1000 . I wonder if you told your insurance company that the engine is worth considerably more than a $1000. No I don

No I don't wonder at all I am sure you are telling them it is worthless . So with those facts being said buying something from you is more than a little risky. Much much better to buy a new one from Bombardier or have their present engine rebuilt

Kelly, you're right. I am rereading what I wrote and I probably should have let things kind of solidify before I started doing that. It's just that after trying to sell a lot of parts on the internet and getting RIDICULOUS offers (i.e. if you know jeeps, an AMC 20 for a locked/geared dana 60) I wanted to try to nip that in the bud. I don't want to rip anybody off, and I certainly don't want to sell somebody a bad motor, but I would like to get a reasonable price for it. And if you think I'm going to tell my insurance company that... HELL NOOOOO!!! I've paid my premiums on time every month. I have no obligation whatsoever to tell them what I believe the salvage value to be. They have paid adjusters for that. Thanks Loofer, ebay is always there.
