The denso part is your starter sol.Mine is located right behind the negative battery post inside the sub frame is that where yours is at?????

 

starter is foront of the engine..under the manifolds.....i mean back of the battery box inside electric system cables....i show you place with photo im gonna get some pics

 

Ok thats where my 02 sol was but it is very easy to move it and the cables do not need lengthining if you send me a email address to Yocabet@aol.com I can send you pics of my baby bikes install.I cannot figure out how to shrink pics so i can't post them here.

 

And i said starter solonoid not starter.That is what triggers the starter it takes the 2.5 amp voltage fron the starter switch and converts it to 85 amps to start the bike.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

That is the starter solonoid and just relocate it to the back of the subframe right behind the negative post on the frame there is plenty of room thats where mine is and might i suggest you clean the cables that is a problem waiting to happen all that rust.
