They don't call me bigwaynester because I am fat
it is funny when I meet people from the forum they think I am a big guy.
I got started on the internet when "napster" was hot and everybody was downloading music. When I signed up it asked for a user name..I had no idea what this was about so my brother told me to make up a name, so I chose Waynester ( rhymes with Napster) but that was already taken so I went with Bigwaynester

Kind of neat where everyone gets thier inspiration for something as simple as a screen name.
I've had mine since High School. I was totally into the "Death Metal" Music scene in the late 80's early 90's. One band I could never get enough off was a band called "Entombed". It was always in my car stereo, I would pick up my guitar and play thier music, and was in a metal band influenced by thier distinct sound. I liked them so much everyone in High School called me "Entomber". Name stuck ever since. Till this day thier first album is a classic (titled "Left Hand Path"). I listen to a broader range of music these days, but once in a while I pop it and and the music just triggers so many memories. As like Metallica, success got to them and they are now a shadow of thier former self.
Once someone here in the forums had a notion I was someone who worked with cadavers for funeral preparation.
Hey Bioware, what game was it you played with your son that inspired your handle?? I've played a few games from that game company. When I saw your nick that particular game company always came to mind.
Waynester... what's up with Hightower? Have ya heard from him? Been ages since I saw him last post.

He got a different job. He did most of his posting from work. I have not talked to him, only email. I need to call him

I got my name because I pretty much suck at coming up with cool nicknames for myself. I wanted to have a name I could use in any forum and didn't think naming myself for an ATV would fly in a camera or political forum. My wife's friends called her Miss Sue so I went with Mr., aka Mystereid.
I've only thought about changing it about 400 times but if you've tried signing up say to the Playstation network or a large forum lately you might have noticed some of the cooler short names are taken unless you throw a series of numbers behind it.
