ds650 Pistons

Default ds650 Pistons

Hey guys Im new to this forum and Im looking for a reliable way to get some hp I have been to omw's website I like what they have to offer and they have a 13:1 comp piston but I see that some of you guys talk about a 14:1 piston who carrys that piston and I have a few questions about a big bore kit I have heard horror stories with over heating and reliability Issues is this a problem with omw's 800 kit

i run a CP 14:1 and have also run CP 12.5:1 got them both from Ron Woods for about $250.00 they stock them. if you go with higher compresion you will need to run race gas.

If you call or email Eric at OMW(owner) he should be able to hook you up with a 14:1 Piston. And OMW makes the highest quality big bore kit hands down with no overheating or reliability issues at all. In fact a DS with an OMW 730 kit is probably more reliable than a stock motor.

Yes, the 14-1 Piston is a stock bore. One the 730 Big Bore Kit, it comes out to about 13-1 on the compression side. I currently have 2 DS's that run Eric's 14-1 Pistons, and another that runs his 730 kit. I will personally not go through anyone else at this point. And the only person I have not tried is Jeff Ross with Pami, so no real world knowledge on him. But from there I have tried about all the others, and there is no one close.
