Default height question

how low can u drop a ds? well heres y im asking. i put the front shocks of a raptor in my ds and it dropped to like 3 inches off the ground. when i tried it it would turn too quick.the handlebars werent stable at all..so then i lowered it almost to the lowest point on the rear and it worked perfect but the chain roller got busted and started carving into the frame right on top. did i lower it too much? what do u guys think i can do to it? i already put another chain roller on there but it busted it too.it ate up all the rubber and the screw unscrewed and fell off. i would really like to keep it low though. should i just put the regular shocks on again and make a bracket so i can lower it like that? i dont know what to do and its killing me cause i cant use it if its like that.

8 inch wheels with low profile tires will do the trick. This bike never leaves the asphalt correct? Ground clearance is your friend in most cases...
