Does anybody know anything about sprockets? If I go down to a 15 on the front and up 2 teeth on the back how much top end do I sacrifice? Or is it eaiser to just go down to a 14 on the front? Or is a 15 on the front alone going to make a noticable difference in acceleration?

Even with just going with the 15 you will definitely notice a gain in acceleration. Just order a cheap one from Rocky Mountian ATV.
