Default DS650 electrical issue HELP!!!

I just replaced my sprag clutch on my 04 DS bajaX. I got it running after a jump and went to disconnect the cables and all was well untill i turned the lights on (it was late) and gave it some gas. the lights got really bright then turned blue and then just blew out. The the engine died. I then attempted to start it again only to find out i had no spark. CDI box was dead. I put in another CDI got it started and did some measurements and found that i was geting 18Vdc at the battery at idle. Does anyone have any ideas?

Default DS650 electrical issue HELP!!!

the battery was only at 10Vdc so im wondering if the rectifier is compensating for that. it is a aftermarket one.
