The stock exhaust meets that. Your best bet is to use that one when at the dunes, so that you don't get a ticket. I have heard the ticket is only $15 if you can fix it on the spot, so maybe you could carry it in a backpack with you if you really have to have a more powerful pipe. -This last comment was a joke BTW! You ought to start with the more basic things, like a K&N or Uni filter for your DS, though I haven't even heard anyone in here mention a Uni filter for the DS, guess everyone is sold on the K&Ns.

Might try the new Big Gun with the quite core 94db. I don't know if that is low enough

I have the uni on my DS and it works great. While most of you run the K&N I am just a little gun shy of it.I agree the K&N makes a little more power but you have to ask yourself why the winning Baja 2000 team and almost all other cross country race teams choose a foam type air filter

The Uni works better in high dusty conduction and the K&N works better in sandy conduction. Some people run a K&N with an outer foam filter as a combo.

The DB limit at the Oregon dunes is 94 DB.Good luck,im sure with a little looking you can find one to meet that limit.Which is a ridiculous one at that.

Current allowable dB level for the Oregon dunes is 93. It is 97 at Sand Lake, where ever that's at.
