Yes!!!!! You will love the new power those items will bring you. Go for it! I would say at least 5 or more Horsepower with that combo.

i was thinking back that a couple years when people were talking about lte exhaust, that you could run a lectron because that you had to run a snorkle to air filter. you could not run a direct mount filter, like with the exhaust pipes running on the inside of the frame. but do not hold me to this, but if could put a race ported intake on also for the 48, and you surely smile from ear to ear.

Flyinds brings up a good point. I would think that a Mikuni TM48 would be better for that set-up so you can run a direct mount K&N filter. The Lectron likes the full intake tube better. I know Ron Woods has that set-up the TM48 set-up.

Too fat lean her out and i run the tm 48's with the lectron and direct mount filter and i would be happy to port your intake for you.I have ported many intakes and i wouldn't charge i just get a kick out of doing it.i have ported at least as many as any builder i have a better price its free because its fun for me.And once someone told me while at kenz the were laughing @ one of my ported heads. But they did not laugh when i went by them on the hill and if anyone knows me they know i took the time to rub my poor port job in there face at the hill. Oh the memories by the way since then i have learned to make them pretty.

He is saying that you need to re-jet your carb to a smaller size on the main jet. And yes Mikuni is better for the direct mount. AZ will port your stock intake like he said so no need to buy one.
