The 850XP seems to be a good package overall...
If you are talking about drag racing, then there is ALOT of variables in that, which the main point would be the RIDER.... reaction time, tires, SIZE of tires... ALOT of things..
BUT.....
Most of the drags I have seen have been with the 08 OR older VS the 09 850XP...
I got to admit, BRP needs to step up with the EPS that is offered by a few other companies or they will lose money.. ALOT of people have been waiting for it....
The 09 800R has some different things with it, and run a little faster on the TOP end, but is smoother on the LOW end... Which seems to lose a little on the hole shot.... But seems to make up later in the run....
I always liked the popo's till I bought a 08 800 Touring... I am leary on any new ones from them now..
On the other hand.. I have been COMPLETELY happy with the outlander I bought... I love this thing more everytime I ride it.. It will be hard to find a better one for me and my riding style........
Anyways, got a little off topic, but I do ramble at times...
