Specta I can appreciate your opinion, even if it is based a a short ride on an Outlander. You didn't say what year it was. That being said, you are by far in the minority. More and more the Can Am's have become mainstream. Trips to Moab, the Paiute trails, Oregon, Nevada and Calif. reveal that they are everywhere and in growing numbers. There are people coming off King Quads, Grizzlies and even the new 850 XP Popo to take advantage of the new technology that the Can Am's offer. Yes, there are naysayers that can't let go of some of the real and percieved shortcomings that the early Outlanders had, But Can Am listens and has addressed those issues. The 2010 models are just the best there is available today. Not for everyone, as you say. Some people are looking for a value based quad without a view to performance. Some are just more comfortable with old technology. To each his own. For the question that started this thread, you may want to go to some of the more CanAm/Renegade based forums. PM me if you want the names, etc.

The outlander's have come a long way, and are among the best on the market. I was very impressed with the ones I've driven. I might have bought one except for the fact that the Can-Am dealer in my area is a total douchebag. I loved the XP too and the Polaris dealer worked with me and cut me a decent deal. I think the top of the big bore heap is occupied by the 800R and the 850XP. The T-cat is a super fast quad, but the handling is far enough behind the CA and Popo that it doesn't rate at the top.

Let the flaming begin.

Here it is, what year is it?? 09 or 10 or is it too hard to tell??

I wont buy a 2-up ATV but if I did it would be the Outlander.

I would never own a Polaris or an AC and a 750+ pound ATV will never find a home in my garage.

Thanks but no need for the links, it's not on my list.

Specta. Can't tell the year from the picture. Nice looking quad though. Seems it did well in the snow. I was directing my offer for links to the gentleman that started this tread, although on second thought, you are lurking on this Can Am thread so there must be some interest somewhere. LOL A littlle fruedian slip. LOL

Good for you dude. To each his own. Maybe Honda will send you a few more hats for that line.

Maybe they are...probably not, I don't think they would waste their time in a Can-Am forum. I think Honda marches to the beat of their own drum.

Oh, and FYI, Polaris has given me a hat, two tee shirts, and a long sleeve tee. Honda isn't the only company that gives out the swag.

I appreciate that you love your ride... and the company who made it.

Just because some of us disagree with you doesn't make us douchebags.

Well, some of us are, but not all.
