ERIC I think the Ron Wood Stage 1 kit is made up of pipe, cdi unit, 45mm carb, port and polished intake manifold, K&N air filter and twist throttle and goes for about $1500.00

 

Still haven't rode it yet.Maybe on Sunday.I can't wait.Jimmie, make SURE you have ball end allan wrenches to remove the manifold.Still almost stripped the heads cause they were tight.I had a little problem while putting on the manifold some wires got between it and the cylinder.I removed the intake and reinstalled no probs.put all the plastic on and then i looked down by the tire........one of the o-ring seals on the intake fell off.So i actually have installed the kit TWICE.LOL

 

Does the stage one make that much difference? Is it worth all that money? I got the k&n power kit =$100 Used street bike yoshimira=$20 twist throttle $35 I can port and polish my own intake =$20 I need the cdi box $300 that adds up to $475 would the stage one be any better than that as far as performance go ?

 

Oh Ya!!! Have you ever heard the term "pulls like a freight train"? Like crash said you come back with only a smile. and maybe tears and snott smeared back across your face if you didnt wear your goggles and helmet.

 

sorry crash i meant 650 maniac, i've had stage1 since august lol, anyway tomorrow i'm putting my accelorater pump on 650 maniac.

 

the accellerator pump fixed it, my 45mm carb rocks now, instant response as fast as i can twist the throttle, i'll call ron woods and let him know it fixes the problem.
