if you want it all to be dull & even use some 500 wet/dry sand paper and evenly scuff the whole thing. my buddy did this to his raptor plastics & it doesn't look bad.

I was thinking about that. It would just suck if I did it and thought it looked horrible. ha. but even if I found a way to clean up the plastic, it's just going to get scratched and dingy again. Hmmm...

i have the same problem hahaha!!!! I bought the tank cover from a older model so its also black now all the plastics on my bike are black woooo hooooo best look ever

A heat gun in the right hands will do wonders, get it just hot enough where it starts to melt & that section will revive quite nicely. Practice on an old piece you don't care to trash like an old dirtbike fender.

what grit of sandpaper do you recommend?dry or wet?

DAM DUDE NO JOKE I TRIED THE PLEDGE AND IT WORKS REALLY NICE!WHO WOULDA KNOWN?THANKS MAN STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET RID OF THE SCRATCHES.
