Default adjusting valves

where can you get a shim kit? will hotcam kit work?

Most dealers will exchange your shims for the ones you need. Just have your measurements written down on a piece of paper along with what shim goes to what valve then take that to the dealer and exchange them for the proper thickness shims.
No need to buy a shim kit for only four shims.

If you don't have a local dealer, there is a great supplier out of Moab that stocks the shims. The shims for the DS are the same as the Kawasaki KLR 650, as well as some BMWs. He specialized in the KLR stuff and had my shims next day. They were only like 6.95 per shim, great guy to work with. His website is arrowheadmotorsports.com. Good luck.
