im confused my bike has a big gun rev box. I got a ron wood cdi. Are they the same part? Just different manufacturer? I think im confusing the cdi box for the part that is bolted to the airbox under the seat. Please help.

Thing under the seat is the rectifier, yes the RW and Big Gun are both CDIs from different manufacturers.

Default Ron Wood CDI

Be careful with RW CDI it removes the rev limiter completely. Big Gun just increases it some.

What year model is the Big Gun CDI for? How much are you looking to get for it? I could always use a spare for the tool box.
BG and RWR are both good CDI's but I prefer the advance of the BG, for my style of riding anyway.
