Default Lowering kits

New to the forum and wondering if anyone has the solution to lowering a 07 DS 650? I own a 2001 model which sits about 3'' lower than the 07 model. I have read in the past here that certain shocks are one method. I would appreciate any info provided. Thanks.

Are you looking to flat track it or something?

No, just lower center of gravity so its not so tipsy in corners and more stable. My 2001 is lower and wider and handles much better. I also have a 07 Raptor 700 that was the same as the 07 DS and I put a widening and lowering kit on it and it handles so much better on all terrain, especially cornering.

I have a set of works front shorty shocks that came off my 2000 I would sell. They were for flat track racing and are probably about 4-5in shorter than the stock shocks.

If both DS650 are stock the only reason the older one sat lower was the shock sag.... have you tried just running more sag?
