hi everyone...i have been having a major issue with my 2004 ds 650....it starts up and runs fine..after a certain period of riding it starts to bog down and then stalls out...after stalling, it turns over but wont start...it has spark and fuel, if i let it sit for fifteen minutes it fires back up ...sometimes i can ride for an hour without it happening and other times its a little as five minutes..i am stumped as to what it could be any feedback would be great.

 

Try checking the vent tube from the tank make sure its not pinched shut under the tank by a frame rail you will have to take the tank cover off sounds like it is running out of fuel
check the fuel line from tank to carb pull it off and blow threw it also you can check the on off valve take the two screws out and look at the screen on the inside make sure you clean the inside of the tank might be a good time to check the valves
