hi everyone. ive got an 08 outlander 650 with maybe 15 hours on it. i pulled the break in oil out and the machine seems fine. problem is, when i start machine it says " maintainance soon". i;m assuming its a code the dealer can clear because it came on rite when the ten hour $365 dollar ten hour checkup was due, this after i just paid $6700 for machine. i was wondering if anyone knew of a sequence i could do to clear this code without going to dealer. like i said, its a brand new machine and it seems to be fine. any help would be appreciated!

 

Dealer only to clear the code. They should do it for free if you show them the reciepts from the oil and filter change.

yep- dealer only on the code thingy. while you're there, have them program your own tag on the gauge. mine flashes "dirty mud ****" when I start it up

 

50hr between oil change is the norm. After only 15hr it should flash "Take me for a ride".
