TM45 throttle cable on top?

TM45 throttle cable on top?
I took my TM45 carb off of one of my DS650 to clean it out and when I put it back in the throttle assembly looks to go back directly on top with a hook the hold it in place.
Anyway it looks weird and the aftermarket gastank is hitting it and I dont remember doing that before.
Are there any pics out there or do I have it right?
