Default 02 DS650 baja - not hooking up

Hey guys
Ive been having issues with my bike lately, i thought i was just hitting rev limiter early when i have a rev box on it but now i think when im riding my bike and i just hit the throttle then it dont hook up like it use to not it catches a little then starts to rev alittle not to much but i lose my hook up?
I was talking to my dealer here and he says it could be my springs in my clutch and or it could be my clutch just going. Im not sure what to do, i dont want to take it to the dealer and pay then to do that when it might be not that
Any help is much appreciated
thanks guys

probably the clutch slipping as they said, slipping can also be noticed at high speed. do you notice any slipping at higher speeds when getting on the throttle pretty hard ?

Barnett Dirt Digger clutch kits run about $200 on ebay. If your just riding that will do ya just fine. You can do it yourself easy.

What kind of oil are you using? The wrong oil will make the clutch slip
